Product Use In This Recipe

Ingredients

  1. Salmon meat x 2 pieces
  2. 4 tablespoon of Taco seasoning
  3. Bird’s eye chili 
  4. Cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves and star anise
  5. 1 cup of Santan (coconut milk) 
  6. 5 tablespoon of water
  7. Coriander leaves
  8. Cooking oil

Cooking Instruction

Prep the ingredients:

  1. Marinate salmon meat with Taco seasoning
  2. Lightly crush the chilli and separate coriander leaves for garnishing

Cooking:

  1. Heat up 5-6 tablespoons of cooking oil on medium heat and cook salmon thoroughly before putting it aside. 
  2. Heat up another 5-6 tablespoons of cooking oil on medium heat and stir fry some red onion, cinnamon stick, cardamom, clove and star anise until it becomes fragrant. Be careful not to burn the spices.
  3. Pour the remaining Taco seasoning into the mix and stir until the oil splits.
  4. Pour the santan and sprinkle the bird’s eye chili together and mix them well into the gravy. 
  5. Taste the curry gravy taste, once you are happy with the taste; serve the gravy on top of the cooked salmon. 
  6. Garnish with sliced coriander leaves and they are good to go.

Meat-free suggestion:

Swap the salmon with edible plants like eggplants or plant-based proteins such as fried tempe.
